Before you start
Grab your private Memry forwarding address from Settings or the Auto-forward wizard. It looks like m.yourhousehold@inbox.projectmemry.com and is unique to your household.
- Open Memry → Settings → Household and copy your forwarding address.
- Pick the 3–5 senders that drive most of your household planning.
- Decide whether to keep originals in your primary inbox (recommended) or archive them after forwarding.

Gmail: add your Memry address as a forwarding destination
Gmail requires you to add and verify the forwarding address once before any filter can forward to it.
- Settings (gear icon) → See all settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
- Click 'Add a forwarding address' and paste your Memry forwarding address.
- Memry captures Gmail's verification email automatically. Open Memry, click the verification link inside the message, and Gmail will show the address as Verified.

Gmail: create a filter per important sender
Once the destination is verified, create one Gmail filter per sender so only their messages forward.
- Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → Create a new filter.
- In 'From', paste the sender domain (e.g. lincolnelem.k12.us) or specific address (e.g. classroom3b@school.org).
- Click Create filter → check 'Forward it to' → pick your Memry address from the dropdown → Create filter.
- Repeat for each sender. Memry's Auto-forward wizard generates copy-pasteable rules for you.

Outlook.com and Microsoft 365
Outlook calls these 'Rules'. Open Settings → Mail → Rules → Add new rule. Set the condition to 'From' the sender or domain, and the action to 'Forward to' your Memry address. Save.

iCloud Mail
iCloud only supports full-mailbox forwarding natively, which is usually overkill. The best workaround is to add a Gmail or Outlook account as a secondary inbox that receives iCloud mail and use that account's filters instead — or forward manually for now.

Troubleshooting
If forwards aren't arriving: check that the Gmail verification step completed, confirm your filter's 'From' pattern actually matches the sender's real address (school newsletters often come from a different domain), and look in Memry's Settings → Household for the 'Last forwarded message' timestamp.
